Activate

So I now have another IPhone....yes I know, I know. Anyway activation is not going to plan. Run through the process which I have done more times than I care to remember over the last 12 months. This time though the the all singing all dancing device won't activate. For three days now all I get is 'Waiting for activation'................AAAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

Snow snow snow

I haven't actually been out the house in days. The snow came in Monday and since then the roads have just been a nightmare. Gritters don't come round these parts as I live the back end of no where almost.
I did see something rather funny though on the field across the road, the local kids have built a snow man but well actually it isn't a snow man but a 6ft tall penis out of snow LOL.

Down Under

See this morning on Twitter that Lance Armstrong is now down under for the Tour of OZ. Have to say I am really looking forward to seeing how he gets on.

Mobile

Well two IPhones later and they have both gone, now replaced with an SE C905. IPhone is a great bit of kit but not really what I need. I have my BB Bold for messaging so only need a decent phone with a decent camera and not a mini computer. Plus when out training I was always worried about the IPhone, which when doing 60 mile cycle routes is the last thing I need to be worrying about.
My plan is to stop spending so much money on phones and just stick to one a year.....time will tell.

Even though I haven't been updating this site I have been twittering alot recently and with the application available for my Blackberry it makes updating easier.

Not much blogging

Didn't realise til this morning just how long it had been since I last blogged. Been kind of busy with stuff but plan to post more often...even though I am the only person who reads this blog :)

Jailbreaking!! Mind bending

Being in IT I believe I have a good understanding of technical stuff, I can program a VCR, design and implement complex wintel solutions. Even work out the I-Drive system in the BMW but since the 3G IPhone arrived yesterday do you think I have been able to Jailbreak it?!?!?!?!?
No is the answer, I tried WINPWN but it just wouldn't work. In the end I had to call a client who is also a good friend of mine to find out how he jailbroke his IPhone. Was a very embarrassing day and a sad event when I am calling on non technical people for technical advice :(
